              2012 Sec 4E4 Class ANNOUNCEMENTS

              Things to bring on first day of Term 1:
              1. REPORT BOOK with parent's signature for both 2011 EOY results slip and CDRC)
              2. Digital thermometer (in working condition)
              3. $10 for class fund (covers 2012 student handbook, notice board, CNY decoration)
              4. a piece of cloth (to clean your table and chair)
              5. staple with staple bullets (to do up the notice boards)


              Please complete the following form by 2 Jan 2012 and read the  announcements under Class admin items to be completed on first day of Term 1:

              Class admin items to be completed on first day of Term 1:

              [A] To be conducted by: Monitress & Asst. Monitress
              1. Complete the BLUE form titled 'Foreign student who did not report'                              
              2. Complete the BLUE form titled 'List of Muslim students who are exempted from chapel'  
              3. Check your subjects in the given 2012 Sec 4E4 Subject combination list and initial next to your name after checking or amending, using a RED pen.  
              4. Check your details in the given 2012 Sec 4E4 Contact details and initial under the column 'Signature' after checking or amending, using a RED pen.  
              5. Check your contact numbers in the given 2012 Sec 4E4 Class relay system and initial in the space below your Tel. no., after checking or amending, using a RED pen. 
              6. Check your leadership roles in the given 2012 Sec 4E4 Leadership Opportunity and initial  under the column 'Signature'  after checking or amending, using a RED pen. 
              7. Check your seating plan for Week 1. It will be the same as 2011. A new seating plan will be given to the class in Week 2. Paste this seating plan on the Teacher's table.
              8. Check your details in the given Individual Student Details and initial at the top right corner after checking or amending, using a RED pen and date it.  
              ** Note: All items are to be submitted back to Mrs Raj at the end of the class time to be handed to 
                             the following teachers. 
                             Items 1 & 2:     Mdm Choo WY
                             Item 3:             Mdm Yeo SL
                             Items 4, 5 & 6: Ms Tan JL


              [B] To be conducted by: Finance managers
              1. Using a class name list, title the first column as '$10, T1W1'. Students who have handed in $10 are to sign in the first column against their name.
              2. Submit the class name list with the class fund collected to Mrs Raj at the end of the day.
              3. Finance managers are to collect the class name list from Mrs Raj and continue with the class fund collection the next day, should there by any classmates who have yet to submit the $10.
              4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until everyone has submitted. Latest deadline to submit: 6 Jan, Friday.


              [C] To be conducted by: Environment manager
              1. Use the materials given by Ms Jane Hoe to the class to decorate the notice boards. If they are not provided, please use the class fund to purchase the black/coloured papers from the school bookshop.
              2. Gather a few students to remove and put up the new layer of  black/coloured papers on the notice boards.
              3. Minimum requirement: All notice boards should be covered with a layer of black paper or coloured paper by the end of the first day, if the class is unable to decide on the design of the notice board.
              4. Environment manager to gather ideas from the class and to inform the class of the materials to bring to decorate the class. If there is class time within the week, please also discuss about CNY decorations.
              5. Latest deadline for notice board decorations to be up, excluding CNY deco: 6 Jan, Friday.

              Note: It the notice board is already covered with a layer of black/coloured papers and they are in good conditions, if the class does not mind retaining them, you need not change them. Save money, save paper.

              Seating plan for assembly in Hall: 
              seat according to register number
              Row 1: Reg. no. 2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,19,21,22,24,25 (20 students)
              Row 2:  26,27,28,29,31,32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39 + 5 Prefects (19 students)


              Please note that prefects who will be joining the class, after their duties, 
              will sit next to reg. no. 39 (Caitlyn).
